Our flagship lodge on the edge of the plateau: turf roof, crackling fireplaces and dinner served at seven sharp.
Check availabilityStorveis Lodge was built by volunteers in 1921 and has welcomed hikers ever since. Today it sleeps 42 in rooms of two, four and six, with a drying room for wet boots, a sauna by the stream and a library of old trip logs.
Half board is included in the staffed season: a big breakfast buffet, a packed lunch you make yourself, and a three-course dinner built on local trout, reindeer and cloudberries. Outside the season the lodge runs as a self-service cabin with a stocked pantry.
