Cabin rules and FAQ

Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is by 11:00. At the staffed Storveis Lodge, reception is open 14:00–21:00. Self-service cabins use a door code that we email 24 hours before you arrive.

Bed with duvet and pillow, firewood, gas for cooking, and use of the kitchen and common rooms. At Storveis Lodge, half board (breakfast, packed lunch and dinner) is included in the staffed season. All prices include VAT.

• A sheet sleeping bag (required for hygiene; rental 90 kr at the lodge)
• Headlamp, map and compass

• Food for self-service cabins, unless you buy from the pantry

Storveis members save 30% on every night, and members get priority booking for Easter and the summer holidays. Log in before you book and member prices are applied automatically. Become a member.

Cancellation is free up to 7 days before arrival. Between 7 and 2 days before, we refund 50%. Within 48 hours, the booking is not refunded, but you may pass it on to a friend. Changes to dates are free while the cabin is available.

Dogs are welcome at Fjellro and Gjuvbu. Keep them on a lead between 1 April and 20 August, and off beds and sofas all year. Dogs are not allowed at Storveis Lodge, Breidablikk or Utsikten, out of respect for guests with allergies.

1. Leave the cabin as you would like to find it: sweep, wash up and carry out your rubbish.
2. Quiet hours from 23:00 to 07:00.
3. Fill the woodbox and water bucket before you leave.
4. Close the chimney damper and make sure the stove is out.
5. Write in the guestbook. We love reading it.

Never let a booking push you over a ridge in bad weather. If you are stuck, call the cabin host on +47 61 00 00 00 and we will move your booking at no cost. Every cabin has an emergency radio and a first-aid kit.
